Static Plant Fitter - Tamworth area

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Static Plant Fitter based in Tamworth area

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Fitter to join their team. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of shredders, conveyors, telehandlers, plant machinery, and crushers.

Conducting regular maintenance checks on static plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
Collaborating with the maintenance team to plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.Experience in maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery such as shredders, conveyors, telehandlers, plant machinery, and crushers
Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and inspections on mobile heavy plant machinery.
Sound knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems associated with static plant equipment.
Familiarity with maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance and inspection techniques.
A valid driver's license.
Experience working on a variety of heavy plant vehicles, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment, is preferred
NVQ level 3 in Heavy Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
