Job Title: Engine Fitter Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire Duration: Contract (3+ months) Pay Rate: DOE Hours :7am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am till 1pm on a Friday. We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters for 3+ months work based in the Burton-on-Trent area. Own transport is recommended due to the location. Candidates must have either of the following experience, Plant, Rail, HGV, Maintenance Experience, Overhaul background. The role of a Mechanical Fitter is to carry out mandatory services and repairs.

  • Understanding of vehicle mechanical interfaces and repairs of vehicle components
  • Install and repair of hydraulic systems
  • Fault find and diagnostic investigation work
  • Engine knowledge
  • Overhaul of raft components
  • Understand schematic drawings
  • Training as and when required
  • Previous Rail/Automotive or Plant experience required
