Business Support & Marketing Coordinator Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire Hours: Fulltime, permanent | Monday - Friday Salary: Dependant on experience We are looking for a Business Support and Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Stroud, Gloucestershire Working for First Base Employment, you will ensure the smooth running of the office whilst managing our marketing across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram This is a varied role, where you will support the recruitment team in sourcing top candidates whilst working directly with company directors to develop and implement an effective marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities of a Business Support & Marketing Coordinator

  • Manage the development and execution of the First Base Employment marketing and branding strategy.
  • Develop and promote advertising campaigns.
  • Develop original copy, using WordPress, for the company website and printed advertising materials using Canva.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to seek out stories, blogs, or photos to celebrate and raise awareness of our services.
  • Effectively distribute key information via MailChimp to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update/create and order stationary items e.g., business cards, letterheads.
  • Assist in the delivery of internal/external events, including job fairs, conferences, fundraising, etc.
  • Develop and execute a sourcing plan of action to meet immediate client hiring requirements.
  • Carry out telephone screening calls with candidates to assess their suitability for roles.
  • Maintain stock levels and requests for branded merchandise and consumables.
  • Support with the onboarding process for new starters.
  • Support with induction arrangements and new starter admin.
  • Carry out various administrative duties as assigned by the Central Services team.
  • Ensure data is accurate, maintained, and adheres to GDPR Regulations.
Key Skills of a Business Support & Marketing Coordinator
  • Excellent administration and data management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of social media marketing (specifically LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram).
  • Good telephone manner, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the use of Canva is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a recruitment environment is desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and work off own initiative.
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to help and support colleagues, thinking beyond the task being given
