Position Title : Project Manager

Location : South Coast

Salary: (£50k - £70k doe)

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination :

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for rainscreen installations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints.

Team Management :

  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site workers.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure accountability.
  • Provide training and support to team members as needed.

Quality Control :

  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve any issues.

Safety and Compliance :

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures for each project.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for project teams.

Budget and Financial Management :

  • Manage project budgets and financials, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.

Communication and Reporting :

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including progress, challenges, and solutions.

Risk Management :

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction or building envelope industry.
  • Proven experience managing rainscreen or façade installation projects is highly desirable.

Skills :

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
