We're looking for a strategic, analytical, and systems-savvy Finance Systems Manager to join our Finance Operations team. You'll own our finance systems roadmap, streamline data flows, drive automation, and ensure operational excellence across our invoicing and financial processes. As a Finance Systems Manager at Smartly, you will... Own and evolve the finance systems roadmap, ensuring it aligns with our finance and business strategy. Lead system development and integrations, partnering closely with software developers to design, test, and implement new functionalities, automations, and reporting tools. Oversee finance dashboards, ensuring stakeholders have reliable, actionable, and insightful data. Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, data flow diagrams, and user guides to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability. Review and support invoicing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all billing activities. Identify and solve system inefficiencies, using strong analytical and technical skills to design sustainable solutions. Strengthen data governance and internal controls, maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity across all financial systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and engineering teams across international time zones to translate financial requirements into technical solutions. Mentor and support finance system users, fostering best practices in documentation, problem-solving, and system adoption. We're definitely looking for you, if you... Are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Have proven experience implementing or managing finance systems in a dynamic, data-driven environment (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora, Avalara, Dynamics 365, SAP, Stripe). Are comfortable working with SQL, Python, R, VBA, or other scripting languages, and can translate functional finance needs into technical specifications. Have experience with BI and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Redash, BigQuery). Bring excellent written communication skills and can maintain robust, clear, and scalable process documentation. Are a structured yet creative problem solver with a strong analytical mindset and curiosity for how systems and data work together. Have experience with invoicing or billing operations and are comfortable reviewing transactional accuracy. Ideally have industry experience in SaaS, media, digital advertising, or ad-spend businesses. Thrive in a collaborative environment and can build trust across finance, operations, and technical teams.
