Education World are looking for Learning Support Assistants across Newcastle on a long term basis to work within a secondary school environment in the Gosforth area. As part of the SEND team you will work directly with children with additional needs creating a supportive atmosphere for them to develop and grow effectively.

Support students to overcome any barriers to learning associated with SEMH needs.
Help students understand instructions/work under supervision of the class teacher.
Collaborate with the SENDCo to ensure each student is having their needs met in line with Education Health Care plans (EHC) and/or Individual Learning plans (ILP).
Managing challenging pupil and Experience:

Adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.This position will start as a temporary ongoing role but has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
