Job Description

Salter Grange is working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of approximately £400 million, renowned for delivering exceptional high-rise residential developments. Projects, primarily based in London, range between £30-£90 million, with a proven track record of success in new build, high-rise, and city-based schemes, with many repeat clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning function on major high-rise residential projects..
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure the programme is accurate and achievable.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling aspects of tender submissions.
  • Mentor and support junior planning staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a planner in high-volume residential and high-rise construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in ASTA Vision
  • Experienced in Loss & Expense & EOT reporting. Detailed Construction programmes, baselines, drop lines & rescheduling. Power Bi would also be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to lead planning on large-scale projects.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in construction or project management is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
