We are looking for an exceptional Senior Wholesale Manager to join our team. We are looking for a senior candidate to help shape the future of our wholesale business and other commercial opportunities.
Anya Hindmarch creates four collections a year and specific capsules destined for the Village and key strategic partners. Categories include handbags and accessories, dog, home, lifestyle, the cult Labelled collection and food. You will be joining a team and brand that is extremely creative, collaborative and ambitious.
THE BRAND
Anya Hindmarch founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand. The brand is committed to creating responsibly, and constantly strives to innovate to reduce its impact on the earth, while also using its platform to drive education and discussion around sustainability. Testament to this are projects such as I Am A Plastic Bag, The Universal Bag - a unique collaboration with supermarkets to rethink the reusable shopping bag, and Return to Nature, a collection of bags which are intended to biodegrade and compost at the end of their useful life.This is a community of neighbouring stores and a cafe. These include a fruit and veg store, a hairdresser, a Christmas Grotto, a dry off licence, A. Houndmarch dog butchers and a garden centre.
Responsibility for the implementation of the wholesale brand strategy and ensuring the development of wholesale partnerships, profitability, and brand awareness through strong launch activations
Collaborate with Marketing, Press and Social to establish key account communication plans to drive sell through, brand awareness, and to secure special collaborations with key strategic partners
Assist in executing all digital and in-store partner activations in line with the company strategy
Develop business in the market by researching potential partners that offer the right brand adjacencies
Day-to-day management of partners - from department stores to independent retailers and online
Support on strategy for and management of the global roll out of the Labelled Project
Develop and manage internal and external reporting to maximise team performance, and to provide data and insights to the management
Drive business throughout the season to achieve strong sell throughs via ongoing communication with partners, training, sales incentives, marketing activations, stock swaps, reorders etc.
Personal qualities & qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in wholesale RTW, accessories or lifestyle
Computer literatein Microsoft Office,particularly Excel
SAP and JOOR systems knowledge are desirable
Willing to travel
Fluent spoken and written English.
Additional languages would be an advantage – especially Italian.
