We are seeking a skilled Avaloq Developer with expertise in automating the release cycle of Avaloq Core Banking System updates. In this role, you will focus on streamlining the release management process by designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable automation of the Avaloq release lifecycle, reducing manual interventions and increasing the speed of delivery.

Responsibilities:

Automation of Release Cycles:

Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate the release cycle of Avaloq updates, patches, and enhancements across different environments.

Create robust automation pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.

Ensure all releases adhere to the established schedule and compliance requirements, while automating manual processes to reduce errors and improve consistency.

Avaloq Development & Customization:

Customize and configure the Avaloq Core Banking System according to the bank’s business needs, ensuring that new developments are integrated seamlessly into automated release cycles.

Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for coding and release automation.

Utilize Avaloq scripting to develop new functionalities and workflows that can be deployed using automated processes.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Avaloq system releases, ensuring integration with test automation tools.

Implement automated testing processes to validate release quality and minimize post-deployment issues.

Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Collaboration & Coordination:

Work closely with the release management team, operations, and QA teams to ensure that the automated release cycle aligns with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate Avaloq automation solutions with broader infrastructure automation frameworks.

Engage with business analysts and stakeholders to gather release requirements and ensure proper testing and deployment plans are in place.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Monitor the success and performance of automated releases, identifying any issues and applying fixes as needed.

Ensure proper logging and reporting for automated release cycles, providing real-time insights to relevant teams.

Conduct root-cause analysis of any failures in the automated release pipeline and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
