Events Manager - Manchester City Centre - £31,000 - B2B Services

Our exclusive client has been a standout in the professional services industry for nearly a decade - serving over 100,000 business owners. They specialise in offering award-winning HR software and support services.Their software makes HR tasks easier for employers and employees. Allowing tasks such as approving holidays, logging sickness, and planning rotas to be done quickly and efficiently.

They are now looking to bring in a new Events Manager to work alongside the Events team in planning and implementing engaging webinars and in-person events for existing and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and coordinating successful online and in-person events, along with strong content creation, collaboration, and communication skills.

What you’ll do….

  • Collaborate with the Events team to execute the events plan, including webinars (live and simulated) and in-person conferences, covering content schedules, multi-channel promotions, marketing deliverables, and sales strategies to meet lead and revenue targets.
  • Manage webinar operations for the UK and Ireland from setup to post-event, including scheduling, preparation, speaker support, and debriefs.
  • Develop and implement a sales blueprint for new webinar series, including launch, sales training, support materials, and reporting to meet targets.
  • Create briefs for the marketing team to promote webinars, aiming to drive registration and attendance, and work with subject matter experts to develop educational content that positions the company as a thought leader.
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person events, including booth materials, handouts, merchandise, travel arrangements, and support booth setup and engagement activities with the event organiser.
  • Prepare and distribute regular lead reports for sales and marketing teams, and support the Events team with reporting on webinars and in-person conferences to reach KPIs.

What you’ll have….

  • Over 3 years of experience managing webinars and in-person conferences end-to-end, with proficiency in webinar platforms
  • Skilled in organising in-person conference attendance and collaborating closely with sales teams, with essential B2B experience; B2B software experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both marketing and sales teams, alongside strong organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of commercial targets
  • Confident in challenging the status quo and open to receiving challenges.
