Corporate Business Development Manager

My client is a fast growing, entrepreneurial private healthcare business and they are looking for an experienced Corporate Business Development Manager to join their high performing team and help lead their growth with key corporate clients across the UK for their new health screening service.
This role offers great autonomy and plenty of exposure, as you will have commercial responsibility for the revenue and margin performance for their corporate portfolio of clients – an area where they see great potential for growth in the future. As a BD Manager, my client need to see that you will be able to positively contribute in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment, developing initiatives and working closely with the wider team.
Essential skills & experience:
- Private Healthcare and/or insurer experience is absolutely essential, with particular experience selling to corporate businesses.
- Confident in building relationships
- Experience in using a CRM system
- To be an articulate and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, proven to command respect with senior managers in the industry and with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Self-starter who is motivated to explore and propose additional/incremental revenue streams
- Business Development, Relationship Management or transferable skills such as sales, telesales or customer service
