Our manufacturing team are currently recruiting for a  Manufacturing Scientist to support with our vaccine manufacturing.

The purpose of this role is to execute defined and trained manufacturing support steps for the production of Vaccine Candidates according to set procedures and protocols and according to best cGMP work practices and Quality standards. Execute production steps defined by SOPs, production records and protocols for manufacture of our vaccine candidate
Raise all safety concerns via the EMS reporting system and flag at level 1 VAC
Act as technical support for the manufacturing process including deviation change implementation, support/execute validation activities
Immediately escalate and report any deviations to materials, facilities, processes or procedures to the supervising team
Contribute to writing COSHH and other safety Assessments
Identify areas for continuous improvement and escalate those to the respective manufacturing supervisor or appropriate line manager
Weekend work on a rota of one in four Sundays, and out of hours work as required


Relevant degree or HNC/HND in Biological Sciences or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing or similar industry
