From our humble beginnings at the Nello James Centre in Whalley Range in 1978, we've grown into the largest independent black and minority ethnic (BME) Housing Association in the region with over 1,200 homes, 36 dedicated members of staff and a turnover of £6million.
Our new Chief Executive will appreciate that we are a people-led organisation and we’re incredibly proud of the communities we serve. Working closely with our Board and committed staff team, you’ll play a key role in shaping Arawak Walton for the future, providing vision and strategic direction but also willing to ‘roll your sleeves up’ to drive innovation, champion diversity and inclusion, and advocate for the needs of our tenants, customers and communities.
With senior leadership experience gained within housing or a similarly complex and community-focused sector, with specific understanding of the operational aspects of the business. An engaging spokesperson experienced in building strong, positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities as well as other key local stakeholders.
