The Opportunity: We are experiencing continued growth within our EPIC team and are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our amazing, supportive team in Wisbech. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people. You will be responsible for delivering quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Leading your team and working with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.
- Role Model: Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
- Supervision and Mentoring: Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
- Daily Management: Overseeing all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
What Do You Need?
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
- Knowledge: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Attributes: Highly driven, proactive, enthusiastic, and a strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Skills: Experience with budgets and rotas.
- Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.
