Responsible for the identification and performance of the bid and tender team in Currys business. Leading the Currys business bid and tender team is the acquisition of new business. Responsible for selecting and replying to Public and private Sector Framework & tender opportunities. Engage at Senior Level with both suppliers & Public/private Sector procurement teams to ensure Currys are on-boarded onto Public Sector frameworks. Ensuring our tender submissions are built & delivered to a high standard, ensuring compliance, whilst maximizing group revenues.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responsible for leading the identification and delivery of Public and Private Sector framework & tender opportunities within the parameters of Currys business.
  • Responsible for delivery of key metrics across the number & value of Frameworks Currys are onboarded to.
  • To identify opportunities and lead the submission of Framework tenders on time, to a professional standard delivering compliance for both the customer & the group.
  • Work with the B2B team as well as other project management teams internal and externally to develop new elements of our proposition from concept through to delivery.
  • Deliver ongoing plans for the Bid and Tender team ensuring compliance in the response and delivery of bids and tenders.
  • Work with sales channels to facilitate efficient processing of sales orders
  • Work with all functions and channels to ensure logistics needs are met
  • Work with internal finance functions as well as our customers directly to ensure that credit and payment needs are met
  • Responsible for the delivery of appropriate legal, commercial, and operational due diligence
  • Support the Currys Business team in growing the overall B2B business.

You will need:

  • At least three years' experience ideally within the Bid and tender UK market
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills across core office applications
  • Proven experience over a minimum of three years successfully working in a high performing team bid and tender environment regarding relationship management, contracts, customer services and SLA management.
  • Proven track record of influence and impact across internal & external customers to gain engagement and cohesive working.
