We are looking for a Head of Email Marketing to join a leading marketing agency and customer engagement team. This is an opportunity to be responsible for developing and executing many leading brand’s email marketing strategies, alongside creating and optimising their email marketing campaigns and tracking and analysing their email marketing performance. You will also work with a wider marketing team to integrate email marketing campaigns with other marketing initiatives and stay up-to-date on the latest email marketing trends and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have commercial experience in an email marketing role ideally working within agency environments where you have both multiple projects and clients to manage. You should also have experience with all major email marketing platforms and a robust understanding of email marketing campaign design, content, and delivery. In addition, you possess excellent writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You are an Email Marketing Specialist, Email Marketing Manager or existing Head of Email marketing and can show where you have delivered email campaigns within agency environments. This experience should include developing and delivering email marketing strategies, creating and optimising the campaigns, as well as analysing email marketing performance.
You are used to working in marketing teams and excited by setting email strategy and objectives, you like presenting and collaborating with clients and senior leaders.
You have proven experience using all major email marketing platforms, including Mailchimp, Hubspot, and others and can show where you have created and managed email lists, segments, templates, and content.
You have end to end experience running campaigns from design to delivery and analysis. This includes writing engaging and persuasive copy, choosing appropriate images and layout, and testing and improving the campaigns.
You have excellent writing and editing skills and the love to craft email content that resonates with the target audience and drives action.
You have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
