• Functioning within a sales / project management / Engineer role on site or office based engineering projects or supporting field supervisor operation conditions.
• Understanding of Hydrotesting & pigging equipment and spreads using nitrogen or water as test or pigging mediums & familiarity with intelligent pigging.
• A committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills leading teams in the successful completion of technically demanding projects mainly in the UK however support for other global locations may also be required.
• Proactive in identifying and offering alternative and additional technical/commercial solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
• A Variety of experience gained in Project Management/Supervision of onshore and offshore pipeline projects involving Nitrogen and associated services within the Petrochemical Industry.
• Fully conversant with all aspects of pipeline commissioning, Nitrogen and Fluid Pumping work, having supervised project managed numerous projects including the Project Manager positions.
• producing, updating and revising to current legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Completing site safety audits for recognition of any short falls within the health and safety policy, company safety standards.
Liaising with sales to interoperate accepted quotes to functioning engineered formulation and design of procedures, specifications, risk assessment & Job safety analysis. Quantifying resources and consumables for both ongoing and forthcoming projects, carrying out of some duties, as above, in a hands-on capacity at clients’ location when required.
• Set up and control of SITE operations, duties included- selection, sourcing, and mobilisation of field equipment to various for pre-commissioning services, pigging, pipeline commissioning, and hydrotest projects both offshore and onshore.
• Forward planning of personnel and equipment for ongoing and upcoming projects. Responsible for development of project procedures and direct supervision of all site operations.
• Assist technical sales promoting excellent customer relations at office to site level, with ability to create communications within the client company structure at all levels of interaction.
• Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue centre’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
• Assures that all operations are performed in a consistent manner in compliance with all HSE policies and best practices.
• Attend site visits to discuss client project objectives and engineer solutions to meet client needs. Producing marked drawings, risk assessments & methods of works to assist operations carrying out work scopes on site.
• Identify materials lists required for projects and purchase material requirements which are not in stock in a timely manner to meet project objectives.
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and its applications such as word, Excel and Bluebeam, having experience with the use of an automated cloud-based project system for flange management and test pack generation.
