Site Manager

A leading contractor who has been delivering remediation, reclamation, enabling works, earthworks and infrastructure projects for over 40 years across the UK, has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join their team.
You will be managing the overall day to day operation of the site and lead successful project delivery on behalf of the company by ensuring that the site team are fully appraised of the contract parameters and have the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives.
Day to Day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site operations and carrying out briefings as necessary
* Preparation of CPP, RAMS, Quality and Environmental Plan in advance of the commencement of the works and ensuring compliance by the site team.
* Working closely with the project team including subcontractors, engineers, QS, and more coordinating and managing all activities onsite
* Understand and implement company SHEQ requirements on site in line with policies and procedures.
* Keeping site records and registers up to date in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
* Management, optimising and updating the project programme
* Liaise with stakeholders and other third parties, projecting a professional image at all times
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ site management experience in contaminated land remediation including former town gas works remediation.
* Excellent project management expertise, including planning and risk management
* SMSTS
* CSCS Black or Gold card
* SHEA Gas
* Full UK driving licence
* Good commercial and contractual knowledge and awareness
