Our client is a leading drinks group who are looking for an Account Manager to look after their premium spirit customers in the East and South London areas. The core element of this role will be to agree and deliver listings for key portfolio brands. You will organise customer meetings and events to build awareness of the brands and be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and controlling costs. This is a sales focussed role with an emphasis on deliverables.
Deliver budgeted sales volume by brand, securing listings against an identified customer target list.
Understand and deliver commercial agreements & plans with key customers across the On Trade & Retail.
Identify future areas of growth to aid with the development of account plans to deliver new volumes
Establish and profitably build relationships with decision makers and bartenders in key outlets.
Support wholesalers: build relationships & knowledge within their sales team to support our endeavours.
Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of high-profile outlets.
Deliver training sessions for all brands
Represent the portfolio of brands at all times and identify opportunities to grow brand volumes and awareness
Work with the wider groups sales team to increase distribution
A solid understanding of commercials, P&L management and ROI
Sales driven but with a clear desire to work with brands
A flexible approach to working within a team
Customer relationship managements and joint planning ability
Delivered success in On-Trade sales in Spirits
Sales experience within the alcohol industry and proven ability to build account plans

You will be managing customer expectations, running promotions and hosting events.
