You'll be producing market leading research on a defined list of global equities. You will also be writing relevant, insightful commentary on equities and markets, to be published across HL's website, the Investment Times and PR commentary.
As an Equity Researcher at HL, you will be helping our existing clients to save and invest with confidence and playing a pivotal role in attracting new clients. You'll be reporting to the Head of Equity Research and will be part of the wider Investment Analysis and Research team.
Producing research on a dedicated list of global equities, including updates on major news flow and events
Writing regular, relevant, insightful commentary on equities and markets for publication on the HL website, the Investment Times and for distribution to existing and prospective clients
Working with the financial promotions team and maintaining familiarity with relevant regulatory developments to ensure all content is appropriate and compliant
Excellent writing skills, keen attention to detail and a clear understanding of tone of voice guidelines
Ability to critically analyse qualitative data to evaluate investment potential
Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or appropriate equity specific qualification (R02, CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning etc.) This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
