Woodland Global are currently recruiting a confident Assistant Management Accountant for our Head office in Chelmsford. The Assistant Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and form part of the Finance team. As part of this team, the Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and supporting balance sheet reconciliations.

What you will be doing:
To support the Finance Manager in all aspects of the management accounts;
Complete month end journals;
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are ready for review;
Vat & Duty reconciliation;
IFRS16 leases reconciliation;
Fixed Assets Accounting & Prepayments;
Assist with preparation of monthly accounts packs;
Complete the monthly Internal Audit process to review stage;
Assist with audit preparation;
Assist and manage Company projects;
Ensure that good working relationships with internal and external customers are developed and maintained;
Communicate with tact, discretion and sensitivity to maintain confidentiality; and
Any other duties as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Work with the Finance Department to continually improve processes and business performance;
Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward;
Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
Achieving agreed individual objectives;
Understanding and adhering to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
About you:
AAT Qualified.
Advanced Excel.
Multi-currency experience.
Experienced in Management Accounts and supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience in a multi-entity environment.
Advanced Word experience.
