Thepurposeof this role: As aSystems Engineering Team Lead, you'll be familiar withsystem architectural design,systems definition, analysis, testing and reliabilitywithinspecialist electronic and mechanicalproduct design andNPI. As the most senior member of theSystems Engineering team, you'll provide leadership to a high-performance, multidisciplinary team delivering in thefull lifecycle developmentandcommissioningofspecialist equipment. AstheSystems Engineering Team Lead, you will: Providetechnical expertise, working hands-on withdesign,modelling and simulation,analysis,andtesting.
Oversee the production and maintenance ofdocumentation, effectively communicatingsystems functionalityrequirements.
Work closely across functions to deal withfailure analysis.
Oversee theskills developmentof the team.
Be actively involved in undertakingtechnical reviews.
Facilitatefull product lifecyclefrominitial concept through to manufacture, working to cost and time constraints while ensuringquality and specification targets are met.
The successfulSystems Engineering Team Lead will: Have previous experience ofend-to-end product development and NPIfrom initialapproval, design, implementation, and delivery.
Be familiar with convertingsystems definitionsto detailedsystem design specificationsfor productmanufactureanddeployment.
Have a strong background insystem architectural design, modelling, and simulationas well assystems analysis, testingandreliability engineering.
Be accustomed tocreatingproposalsanddesign documentation, as well aseffectively communicating requirementsto team members across departments.
Take responsibility for overseeingrisk managementthrough the project lifecycle.
Have previous leadership responsibilities.
