Systems Engineering Team Lead, Lymington, £80,000pa - £85,000paThe purpose of this role: As a Systems Engineering Team Lead, you’ll be familiar with system architectural design, systems definition, analysis, testing and reliability within specialist electronic and mechanical product design and NPI. With their systems often being deployed in some of the harshest environments on earth, the Research & Development team are experts in making sure the systems meet highly specific requirements.As the Systems Engineering Team Lead you’ll benefit from: Hybrid working – open to negotiation on this.Profit-related bonuses.24 days’ holiday + Bank HolidaysHoliday Buy/Sell-Back SchemeDiscounted Gym MembershipCycle to Work SchemeAs the Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will: Provide technical expertise, working hands-on with design, modelling and simulation, analysis, and testing.Oversee the production and maintenance of documentation, effectively communicating systems functionality requirements.Work closely across functions to deal with failure analysis.Oversee the skills development of the team.Be actively involved in undertaking technical reviews.Facilitate full product lifecycle from initial concept through to manufacture, working to cost and time constraints while ensuring quality and specification targets are met.The successful Systems Engineering Team Lead will: Have previous experience of end-to-end product development and NPI from initial approval, design, implementation, and delivery.Be familiar with converting systems definitions to detailed system design specifications for product manufacture and deployment.Have a strong background in system architectural design, modelling, and simulation as well as systems analysis, testing and reliability engineering.Be accustomed to creating proposals and design documentation, as well as effectively communicating requirements to team members across departments.Take responsibility for overseeing risk management through the project lifecycle.Have previous leadership responsibilities.Interested?
