Assistant Head of Geography

Permanent, Full Time

South Craven School, supported by South Craven Academy Trust since May 2011, is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school situated in a semi-rural location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with easy access to Leeds, Bradford and Greater Manchester. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Geography Faculty for an enthusiastic, and talented teacher to join the team as an Assistant Head of Geography to lead KS4. The successful candidate will join the team in January 2025.

Leadership of KS4 Geography.

· Providing CPD to colleagues to improve the Geography curriculum and teaching and learning.

· Contribution to strategic development planning, monitoring, evaluation and review.

· An ability to teach Geography to A level

· Knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum and pedagogy
