MFL teacher - Oldham - October start A dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Oldham, to join them on a full time, teaching key stage 3 & 4 from after October half term until their Easter break in 2025. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced MFL teachers. All applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. In a department with well sequenced learning, with clear links to their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: Location Oldham Position MFL Teacher (KS3 & 4) Type of work Teaching Start date 04/11/2024 Likely Duration 1.5 terms End date - 04/04/2025 Contract type Temporary Full time Minimum rate of pay from £162.31 per day Hours 8:30am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: KS3 Spanish KS 3&4 French Degree educated with a good classification Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in MFL Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided). TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80.
