Role Overview: As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons in one or more modern foreign languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German). You will help students develop their language proficiency, cultural knowledge, and appreciation for global diversity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the national curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
  • Experience teaching MFL at the secondary level is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern foreign languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
  • Strong understanding of the MFL curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
