Contract: Permanent
Seacroft Community Hub, 1 Seacroft Avenue, LS14 6JD with some Hybrid Working in place

As our next Welfare Right’s Support Assistant, youwill be responsible for providing full admin support to the Welfare Rights Team.You will be office based to ensure completed Benefit forms are posted to clients on a daily, basis. a competitive salary and annual leave entitlement plus statutory holidays

To ensure appropriate packs are provided for workers carrying out outreach surgeries and home visits.
To ensure the team has a stock of relevant application forms/claim packs.
To take telephone messages for the team and take appropriate action.
To carry out customer satisfaction surveys as and when required
To use own initiative and judgement where appropriate, providing quality outcomes for all.
To assist with the production of leaflets, publicity material and training packs.
To work as part of a team, to support and assist colleagues.
To fully understand and adhere to the requirements of Data Protection legislation.
To carry out duties in accordance with the Council’s Equal Opportunities Policy and other policies which respect the rights and needs of customers.
Able to input data quickly and accurately.
Able to understand and observe Leeds City Council equality and diversity policies.
Carry out all duties having regard to an employee’s responsibility under Health and Safety Policies.
Willingness to actively participate in training and development activities.
Flexible and adaptable to change to assist other services as required commensurate to grade.
Participate in appraisal, training, and development activities.
Be aware of and comply with Leeds City Council policies and procedures.
Experience of Financial Management System (FMS)
