Senior Accountant - Construction
Join a leading construction company based in Rhyl, Wales, committed to excellence and innovation in the industry. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our construction company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our projects while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Manage all aspects of the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
* Monitor cash flow and liquidity, optimizing financial resources for project needs.
* Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and billing.
* Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
* Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
