Exports and Logistics Administrator

We are looking for a candidate with the experience and ability to work as part of a busy team in the Operations Office, handling a wide variety of tasks
Job Specific Duties :
- Processing spare parts for despatch both UK and global airports via supplier portals
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain transport quotations
- Liaising with suppliers to make transportation bookings
- Assisting with export arrangements for the preparation of export documentation and declarations through the Chamber of Commerce e-cert portal. Raising Certificates of Origin, Arab Certificates of Origin, EUR1, Carnets and all other associated documentation specific to the Country of entry
- Organise visas, flights, accommodation, airport transfers and car hire as necessary
- Any operational ad hoc duties deemed necessary by departmental line Manager
Required Competences:
- A good all round team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure with a good sense of humour is essential
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships
- Flexible and receptive to change
- Efficient and friendly telephone manner
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to multi task within a busy office environment
- Basic knowledge of Sage (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided)
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise tasks, ensuring that deadlines are achieved
- Knowledge of export protocols advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided

Required Capabilities:
- Good standard of education evidenced by GCSE’s in English/Maths or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service ethos
Role Specific Information:
- Hours: 39.5 hours per week (09.00 - 17.00 Monday – Thursday, 09.00 to 16.00 Friday)
- Salary £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
