Are you an experienced manufacturing engineer who enjoys driving process improvement projects and delivering results? My client is looking to strengthen their manufacturing team with this new role and your responsibilities including;

  • Looking for process improvement and efficiencies across a core product manufacturing area
  • Ownership of all processes within your manufacturing area
  • Value stream mapping existing practices and processes
  • Analysing manufacturing data to highlight areas of improvements
  • Optimising automated and manual manufacturing and test processes
  • Driving CI, lean and automation projects
  • Using lean tools and techniques to support manufacturing
  • Working collaboratively across all departments
Ideally you will possess relevant engineering qualifications and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results within manufacturing. Experienced with applying lean tools within medium or higher volume manufacturing – your experience may include Six Sigma, VSM, PFMEA, DFM, TPM, NPD, RCA, SPC or similar. Experience of different assembly processes and methods, ideally electro-mechanical would be advantageous. Highly organised, excellent communication skills and a flexible yet positive approach together with good problem solving skills will be needed, this is a great opportunity to join a progressive, thriving and growing company who offer a friendly and supportive environment.
