Our client are a leading injection moulding manufacturer dedicated to delivering high-quality products across various industries. Their commitment to excellence is evident and as such they are seeking a talented Quality Manager to join their team and uphold their stringent quality standards.

Position Overview:
As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for overseeing all quality-related processes within the injection moulding facility, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures, including inspection plans, testing protocols, and documentation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues throughout the production process.
  • Investigate root causes of quality failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality trends and drive process improvements.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and provide guidance on supplier selection and evaluation.
  • Train and mentor quality assurance staff to ensure competency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in quality management and injection moulding technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality management role within an injection moulding manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence change.
