Position: Field Service Engineer 

Location: Carlisle 

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering team technical service

  • Working with existing team of field service engineers, demonstrate a competence in engineering disciplines
  • Provide planned routine maintenance and corrective jobs on Omnicell products.
  • Manage effective car stock control and timely completion of all service administration tasks
  • Provide customer training and instruction as required. Act as a key point of contact to all customers in your customer ‘patch’
  • Carry out all duties in a professional and courteous manner whilst promoting the company at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate in plain English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working in a team or independently 
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to support changing customer needs and priorities.

Experience:

  • Proven track record with minimum of two years in customer support or customer service within a technology industry
  • Should have service experience (workshop or field) working and engaging directly with customers and end-users 
  • Ability to quickly and methodically troubleshoot problems
  • Computer literate with ability to use relevant software packages, such as Microsoft Word & Excel 
  • Understanding of Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry is desirable

Aptitude: 

  • Must show an aptitude for fault-finding
  • Willing to travel as required to support customers. This could be at short notice and must be considered as part of the job. On occasions there may be a need to stay away from home in hotel accommodation as needed
  • Must be a good communicator with internal FS and Omnicell team and customers. 
  • Must have a clean driving licence (or
