Street Child est une organisation non-gouvernementale, basée au Royaume-Uni, avec une présence soutenue et à haut impact dans vingt-cinq pays. Depuis plus d'une décennie, Street Child travaille dans certains des endroits les plus difficiles du monde en Afrique et en Asie pour garantir que chaque enfant a son droit à une éducation reconnue. Jusqu’ici nous avons sensiblement transformé la vie de plus de 522.000 enfants, et nous allons appuyer un million d’enfants de plus d’ici 2025.
Nos secteurs clés d’expertise incluent l’éducation et la protection des enfants, les enfants en situation d’urgence, l’autonomisation économique des familles et le leadership dans la localisation. Offrir un soutien technique dans la conception, la mise en œuvre, le suivi des installations des ouvrages de santé publique dont les ouvrages d’eau et d’assainissement, avec la participation communautaire et la promotion de la santé publique au sein des communautés cibles, particulièrement les communautés scolaires.
L’Ingénieur en Santé Publique est responsable d’assurer la qualité et la mise en œuvre des activités des projets de Street Child dans le secteur d’eau hygiène et assainissement dans les sites d’intervention. Il sera aussi en charge de la planification conjointe avec les communautés bénéficiaires, des évaluations des interventions dans le domaine de la santé publique au sein du projet sur base des ressources allouées au projet. Le détenteur du poste veillera à faire son travail technique et toutes les tâches selon les chronogrammes des projets en s’assurant que le projet reste dans le temps et le budget selon l’approche de localisation tout en transférant et renforçant les capacités des staffs des partenaires locaux.
Responsabilités:
# Contribuer à la planification, l’organisation, la coordination et le contrôle des tâches du projet en assurant le respect des protocoles techniques de Street Child et les exigences des bailleurs en matière de réhabilitation et infrastructures WASH.
# Contribuer à la mise en œuvre des activités du projet sur le terrain, en étroite collaboration avec les partenaires de mise en œuvre.
# Contribuer aux activités de suivi, évaluation, redevabilité et apprentissage en collaboration avec les partenaires et l’équipe MEAL de Street Child.
# Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les représentants locaux et départementaux dans le domaine de WASH.
# Assurer l’élaboration de croquis techniques et à en estimer la quantité et le coût.
# Collaborer avec les partenaires locaux dans la mobilisation des contributions des communautés dans les activités de construction.
# Veiller à ce que toutes les activités de mise en œuvre tiennent pleinement compte des questions de genre et d’inclusion.
# Recueillir des données techniques et élaborer les rapports de routine des projets.
# Initier les partenaires et bénéficiaires des activités de santé publique au suivi des indicateurs.
# Communiquer à l’équipe de gestion l’évolution des activités sur terrain, évaluer les risques et proposer des mesures de mitigation.
# Faire participer les communautés aux activités planifiées.
# Préparer des rapports d’activités du projet, conformément aux exigences des bailleurs.
# Documenter les bonnes pratiques et cas de succès identifiés lors de la mise en œuvre des projets.
# Adhérer aux valeurs et promouvoir les politiques et pratiques de Street Child en matière de protection des enfants.

Qualifications:
# Une qualification en ingénierie (civile, environnementale, hydrogéologique ou similaire).
# Au moins 3 ans d’expérience pratique dans le domaine de l’eau et de l’assainissement.
# Une bonne compréhension du secteur WASH surtout en situation d’urgence.
# Connaissance et expérience de la réalisation d’évaluations et de l’analyse des résultats.
# Aptitude à présenter des rapports concis.
# Expérience de l’organisation de séances de formation.
# Bonnes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles.
# Une bonne compréhension de l’importance du genre et de la participation au travail humanitaire.
# Bonne connaissance de l’anglais écrit, parlé et autres langues nationales.
# Capacité à travailler efficacement sous stress dans des situations d’urgence.
# Capacité de rédaction des rapports d'évaluation et de projet clairs.
# Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
# Excellentes capacités de communication dans une équipe pluridisciplinaire.
# De fortes aptitudes à influencer, politiquement et culturellement sensible.
# Capacité de s’accommoder et travailler dans des conditions de travail difficiles.
