Our client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are enjoying year on year growth. They are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working from the Oldham office 2days per week (on average) with the other days working from home and occasional requirement to visit project sites in the North-West.

This company deliver highways infrastructure projects, both major projects and highways maintenance contracts. The position of Senior QS would be perfect for a candidate with previous highways experience, however we will also consider transferable experience from other infrastructure main contractor projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Senior QS delivering infrastructure projects (preferably highways).
  • Previous experience working for a construction main contractor.
  • Construction industry related degree - preferable but we will consider alternative career paths.
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Experienced in full range of QS duties, ability to deliver across the commercial functions for project delivery, capable of working independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Team player, strong communication skills and the desire to grow with an expanding business.
