A reputable Social Housing Contractor with a welcoming environment is in search of an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team permanently, situated at their offices in Greater Manchester.

The company specializes in Social Housing projects, focusing on revamping both interiors and exteriors of occupied properties across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire.

With a strong project pipeline and a track record of satisfied clients, they are known for their exceptional customer service and high-quality work.

They are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage office responsibilities and oversee projects in Greater Manchester, with project values ranging from £500k to £5m.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for assigned projects
  • Assess and approve payments to subcontractors
  • Collaborate with Contract Managers to define project specifications and requirements
  • Communicate with Contractors, Suppliers, and Clients to establish project specifications and requirements
  • Track contract progress, evaluate and report any changes impacting project costs or timelines
  • Support in managing individual contract budgets
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of all necessary contract documentation/reports

The ideal candidate must have a steady and advancing career background as a Quantity Surveyor in the Social Housing industry, with experience in working on schedule of rates.

The salary is open to negotiation, depending on your experience, in addition to a car allowance and benefits package.
