Construction Superintendent

Manpower Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at an Ethelene Plant in Fife. This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times. Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing expert recommendations.
- Oversee contractor health and safety plans, including traffic control and erosion control measures.
- Monitor and verify work quantities for accurate payment processing.
- Identify and help resolve non-conformance issues in construction, ensuring compliance and quality control.
- Serve as the lead company representative at various project sites, ensuring smooth operations and excellent contractor relations.
Experience
- Proven experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, including potential overseas assignments.
- Strong background in Construction Materials Testing procedures and familiarity with ASTM standards.
- A proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Previous experience in petrochemical projects is an advantage.
