Manpower Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at an Ethelene Plant in Fife. This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.


Responsibilities


  • In the preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing expert recommendations.
  • Contractor health and safety plans, including traffic control and erosion control measures.
  • Verify work quantities for accurate payment processing.
  • Help resolve non-conformance issues in construction, ensuring compliance and quality control.
  • Be the lead company representative at various project sites, ensuring smooth operations and excellent contractor relations.


Experience


  • Experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions.
  • Travel to project sites, including potential overseas assignments.
  • Background in Construction Materials Testing procedures and familiarity with ASTM standards.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Experience in petrochemical projects is an advantage.
