Role overview

As a Data Analyst at Citygate Automotive, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive insights and support strategic decision-making across various departments. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable recommendations that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance

Key responsibilities

As a Data Analyst your key responsibilities will be:

Data Collection and Cleaning

  • Gather data from multiple sources including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency, resolving any discrepancies or missing values.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively to stakeholders.

Reporting and Dashboard Development

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Superset
  • Customize reports to meet the specific needs of different departments, providing actionable insights for decision-making

Predictive Modelling and Forecasting

  • Build predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes, such as sales projections or customer churn.
  • Evaluate model performance and iterate as needed to improve accuracy and reliability.

Business Insights and Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to optimize processes, streamline operations, and drive business growth.

Continuous Learning and Skill Development

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new analytical techniques.
  • Continuously enhance your skills in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization to stay ahead in the field.
