About Our Client

Our client is a leading advisory firm focusing on providing sophisticated guidance to navigate the complexities of fund financing.

Job Description

You will join the team as a Vice President and will assist clients in achieving their financing objectives. You will interact with clients daily and will be at the forefront of the transactions. This will encompass a comprehensive array of debt-related engagements, advising them on optimal fund financing structures, negotiating new capital fundraising, and overseeing refinancing and the restructuring of existing debt facilities.

As a Vice President in the team, you will:
  • Introduce a comprehensive range of firm services to clients and assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and execution of Fund Finance debt financing processes, often spanning multiple projects.
  • Leverage expertise in multiple debt products to offer optimal advice and execution.
  • Establish and nurture distinctive client relationships while analyzing and maintaining a broad perspective on Fund Finance and debt market trends.
  • Accountable for maintaining engagement quality and risk management, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Play a key role in shaping the team's strategic priorities, including the development of new markets and industry knowledge to address evolving market requirements.
  • Carry out business development initiatives, including the cultivation of a robust pipeline to effectively generate profitable opportunities.
  • This role frequently involves working within tight deadlines and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrate leadership that inspires and develops the team, supporting career progression and personal development across all team members.
The Successful Applicant
  • Experienced at a bank or advisory firm with a specialisation in fund finance
  • Proficiency in debt structuring, credit analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating term sheets and legal documentation.
  • Willingness to deliver exceptional service to clients with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse large amounts of data quickly.
  • European language skills will be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients, lenders and lawyers
  • Experience in providing leadership and oversight to junior team members.
