Role Description
We are looking for an experienced ‘Superstar’ Client Account Manager who has the desire and ambition to become a rising star to progress within our fast-growing business. Working under the direct leadership of the Managing Director, and alongside our Service Delivery team. A pivotal hire, the Client Account Manager will be become the first point of call for our clients, delivering an exemplary client experience whilst promoting our extensive range of services (Japanese Knotweed Removal, Grounds Maintenance, Gritting Services), with a clear focus on increasing revenues. Our business has grown impressively year on year since its inception and we are keen to expand further by offering a clear opportunity for someone to develop and flourish alongside our ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities- We are not looking for someone to hide behind spreadsheets and reports. We’re looking for someone who is incredibly energetic and highly engaging, both on the phone and in face-to-face meetings.
- Become the first point of contact for our expanding high-profile client base.
- Ensuring that all clients are aware of exciting and expanding product portfolio and ability to identify further opportunities.
- Coordinate all aspects of Client Account Management
- Maintain regular contact (MS Teams and phone) with clients.
- Generate new upsell and cross opportunities, working alongside our Marketing Manager to develop ongoing communication and sales strategies.
- Attend meeting onsite when appropriate (often with our Managing Director and Head of Operations)
- Manage an existing client sales pipeline against targets.
- Updating our CRM and Operational software systems with all client conversations, information, and activities (Tasks)
- Monitoring developments and updates within our industry
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Sales or Account Management within a B2B environment
- Previous experience within the Grounds Maintenance or aligned Facilities Management sectors.
- Highly computer literate with experience of modern, web-based software as well as Microsoft Office
- Confident and experienced in speaking at decision-maker (C-Suite) level.
- Demonstrable evidence of Sales/Account Management successes and track record of performing against targets
- Good at building and maintaining trusted relationships - a team player.
- Planning and organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
