The Head of Occupational Therapy (OT) will demonstrate a commitment to delivering patient-centred care and continuous service improvement; A key focus for the role is to guide the Occupational Therapy provision across clinical divisions; professionally supporting the Lead OT in delivery a high quality service. The role will also oversee and shape a multi-disciplinary ‘Recovery and Enablement’ pathway aimed at giving patients the skills and confidence needed to live safely and as independently as possible in the community. The pathway will consist of occupational therapy, education, vocational instructors and the Arts team and they will come together under shared patient outcomes. building the workforce for the future and the Meaningful Activity agenda.
You will be very focused on the tasks and objectives of the role and have experience in continuous quality improvement and leading change programmes for staff and patients.
You will be skilled in bringing stakeholders with you and understanding/ believing in your ideas and vision and will be a true advocate for Occupational Therapy and Adult Education
