Transport Operator 4on 4off, Nights
At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we are currently seeking a Transport Operator for our site in Haverfordwest. This position will be working within the transport team and will involve all aspect of the transport administration processes and coordination of the day to day running of this busy contract.
The position of Transport Operator involves:
Assist the management team to manage and motivate the drivers to ensure that staff and assets are used effectively to attain maximum performance in terms of commercial contract efficiency, profit and client service levels.
Own the day to day running of the milk operation, including despatching the routes on time, monitoring work in progress and debriefing drivers.
Monitoring and auditing Health and Safety.
Answering all queries via email, phone and face to face.
Assist with compliance planning in line with company procedure.
CMS monitoring and complete driver feedback/actions
Previous experience of working within the milk collection environment is desirable.
Previous customer service experience essential, over the telephone and on email.

Salary for Transport Operator is £30,000 to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Hours of work: 18:00hrs - 06:00hrs, based on 4on 4off rota.
