Job Description

My client is looking to hire an experienced Production Manager to join their close-knit team.You will play a pivotal role in production planning and expertise, working to inspire and elevate creativity while ensuring the realization of brand objectives. The position involves client interactions, taking ownership of the entire production process, and collaborating with the wider team to manage production considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with department heads to contribute to project scope and planning, advising on approach, resource allocation, timings, and budget.
  • Source third-party partners for client accounts when necessary, negotiating deals, including usage contracts and securing timings.
  • Schedule, write, and manage delivery briefs through the studio, ensuring work aligns with client requirements.

Delivery:

  • Work closely with project teams to understand project goals and take ownership of delivering the highest quality outcomes.
  • Provide production support and expertise for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and communicate key production considerations, finding solutions and options to achieve design intentions within constraints.
  • Build strong relationships with client production partners, obtaining necessary information for effective completion and delivery of design files.
  • Plan, lead, and document key outcomes for production client meetings as needed.
  • Implement strong print and production knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Pragmatic and imaginative with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong experience in integrating commercial, creative, and functional components
  • Expertise in production, open to skill expansion and tackling new challenges
  • Creative problem solver with a curious mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, translating production language for those less familiar.
  • Highly organized multitasker, capable of managing multiple clients and projects.
  • Willingness to upskill, develop, and work as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge + experience in print production techniques
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Design agency experience is advantageous.
  • Essential expertise in FMCG, digital skills are a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of production processes and assessing printability.
  • Project management skills (budgets, timelines, scoping, briefing).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
