Uttlesford Essex, United Kingdom Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Full time

Successful candidates will be fully signed off in upper and lower GI endoscopy, with a preference for those with additional specialist endoscopy skills which may include bowel screening, chromo-endoscopy, EMR and complex polyps or other specialist techniques.

Alongside consultant posts, we are developing non-medical endoscopist roles to complement the existing team of 6. It is anticipated that the candidate will support trainees in endoscopy through the provision of a weekly dedicated training list.

The Gastroenterology department are recruiting for two roles specialising in endoscopy, 10 sessions will be split between endoscopy lists, including training, general gastroenterology clinics and attendance at suitable speciality related MDT. Please note that this template is flexible and the distribution of non-working days will be agreed in discussion with successful candidates.

We are happy to consider other services or interests which candidates may bring to the health board if there is an unmet clinical need, however, the focus of this role will be to work alongside our existing team to develop a quality, high standard endoscopy service that provides 7 days a week service to patients in Aneurin Bevan.
