Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our busy and small HR team on a freelance basis. The Lead HR Consultant will provide high-quality HR support with particular emphasis on ER cases.

This role will act as the first point of contact for all queries for our small team and clients and provide administrative support internally and externally to our team. The role will also involve running a day to day operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Together with MD, help to manage a team of 6
  • Organise a workload for the team
  • Work with MD on putting the right structure on processes
  • Mentor and coach the team
  • Manage/oversee our HR inboxes and phone lines and respond to or escalate queries as required.
  • General HR and admin support to our team and fulfilling client project needs
  • Support our clients with the HR, recruitment, training
  • Process payroll for our clients
  • Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Attend clients meetings
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances and ensure the correct ACAS process is followed
  • Work closely with the business owners and senior management
  • Offer guidelines on HR processes to business owners and management

About You

  • Previous HR experience, either through work or education, is desirable; at least for three years
  • Passionate about people and making a difference
  • CIPD qualified
  • Strong administrative skills - this is essential
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and remotely most of the time as part of a small team.
  • Great IT skills - Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Databases, HR software, ASANA
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Hours: Monday to Friday About 40 hours a week 

Location: Hybrid working with presence in the London area for co-working purposes and working with clients
