We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Payroll & Benefits Manager looking for an opportunity to implement their knowledge and lead the Payroll Team within the Shared Services Centre. The Payroll & Benefits Manager will report directly to Head of Reward & Shared Services and partner closely with HR, Corporate / Finance and Business operations teams. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Payroll Team at a pivotal time of growth and new business integration.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the team of 4 payroll professionals with the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees within UK & ROI (2000+ across multiple PAYE entities). Supporting the Payroll Team in their processing tasks/activities, ensuring the delivery of a high quality and effective service that meets all statutory and regulatory requirements, with the customer always at the forefront and with an emphasis on continual improvement.

  • Demonstrated experience in a payroll leadership role within a similar sized organisation.
  • Practical experience in managing the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance UK & ROI payroll legislation, pension regulations and benefit schemes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in order to think creatively and find solutions.
  • Advanced understanding of payroll systems and proficiency in implementing and maintaining new payroll systems.
  • Strong skills in pay data analytics, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
