Based in Exmouth near Exeter, our client offers a range of legal services to businesses and individuals to include Conveyancing & Property, Family & Litigation, Probate, Tax, Wills and Power of Attorney as well as immigration and Visas. Although the firm undertakes such commercial work as its clients’ instruct, it is and has been throughout its history basically a Private Client firm. The bulk of its work has been the non-contentious business of local individuals and businesses including property dealings of all natures and a substantial proportion of its workload is involved in Trusts and Probate and the administration of Estates.

To undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the Civil Litigation department
Be a UK qualified solicitor / Legal Executive for 2 years PQE+
2+ years’ PQE with an excellent academic background.

You must have a good understanding of the law and practice relating to Civil Litigation as well as an understanding of the obligations of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Managing Civil Litigation matters, with a particular focus on:
Running your own varied caseload of Litigations cases
Deal with client queries over the phone and in person
Undertake necessary pre-action litigation
