Sales Area Manager South West UK and Ireland Our company:

Position:

We are looking for an area manager whose main responsabilities will be:

  • ·Achieving the objectives of your area in terms of sales, profitability and product mix.
  • Carry out direct sales activities with customers in accordance with agreed strategies.
  • Research and expand area customer base.
  • Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain and develop relationships
  • Agree promotional activity where necessary to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Gather market intelligence to ensure that the Dayco offer remains competitive.
  • Monitor area turnover and implement strategies to ensure growth targets are achieved.
  • Maintain market information to ensure the competitiveness of Dayco offer
Requirements:
  • Previous background in the motor industry or other customer service environment.
  • A successful track record in the ability to prioritise work loads, multi task, work without supervision.
  • An understanding of commercial aspects, including budget control, revenue generating and maximising efficiency.
  • IT literate with a good understanding of MS applications.
  • The ability to understand technical aspects of a vehicle engine.
  • Previous experience within UK Automotive Aftermarket
  • The ability to communicate at all levels of business.
  • Able to work independently but also within a UK team.
