Corporate Receptionist - Fantastic Organisation - Office Based - Central London - up to £35k

We’re on the hunt for a proactive, personable and highly efficient Corporate Receptionist, ideally with experience in professional services, to join a fantastic organisation based in offices in the Shard, Central London.

Joining a dynamic Front of House team, this varied Receptionist role will suit someone who loves a fast-paced role as this is more than just a Reception position. You will be regularly involved in organising company events (both in-house and externally), will manage all meetings and will undertake any office administration tasks as required.

Our client is offering a competitive salary up to £35k and a great benefits package that includes a discretionary bonus.

This is an office based role , Monday to Friday; standard hours are Mon-Thurs 9am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 4pm, although flexibility over hours worked will be required.

Key responsibilities as the Corporate Receptionist will include:

  • Managing a busy switchboard
  • Meeting and greeting clients and guests
  • Providing outstanding levels of client care at all times
  • Calendar management for all meeting rooms
  • Management of all meetings - booking meeting rooms, coordinating all refreshments, clearing down after meetings
  • Assisting with event management for in-house and external events
  • General administration
  • Assisting with IT requests for internal meetings

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a busy and fast-paced Front of House / Reception role, ideally within professional services
  • Impeccable professional communication skills
  • Fluent English with clear and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Strong IT literacy including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of Teams/Zoom etc
  • Demonstrable experience managing meeting diaries
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Tact, confidentiality and discretion
  • Proactive and flexible team player
