Well we have the role for you We are currently recruiting for Support Practitioners to join an established team in Gorebridge, Newtongrange, Loanhead and surrounding areas of Midlothian. You will be working with individuals who require support for a variety of reasons including Mental Health, Autism, Physical & Learning Disabilities. By joining this team, you will enjoy a number of benefits: A permanent role Providing people the support to have their own skills, opinions and dreams A full time role with the opportunity for overtime, paid at time and a half What can you expect from joining this specialist team: you will support people with all aspects of daily living at home and in their communities You will assist people with planning for their future and to prevent the effects of social isolation and loneliness in their lives Adopting a person centered approach to working with individuals who require support for a variety of reasons including Mental Health, Autism, Physical & Learning DisabilitiesWhat you will bring to the role - to excel in this specialist setting you will need to evidence: At least 2 years of experience with working in health and social care Local to the area Driver Successful support practitioners come from different backgrounds and have a range of experiences, but all share our values of respect, interdependence, choice, control, openness and honesty.
